Meet Our Team
Bradley Johannsen D.C.
Dr. Brad grew up in the small Northeastern Iowa town of West Union graduating from North Fayette. It was here that Dr. Brad met his wife Caitlin. Together they have two wonderful dogs, Oakley and Cooper, and are expecting their first child in May of 2021!
During his time in high school, he began to aspire to become a chiropractor after being in a car accident.
He was introduced to chiropractic and the profound impact it had on his health and the health of others. He always knew he wanted to pursue a career that allowed him to serve and empower others and knew a career as a chiropractor would do just that!
After high school, Dr. Brad went on to receive his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of Northern Iowa and went on to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While at Palmer, Dr. Brad learned about the body’s incredible ability to self-heal, and the impact the nervous system plays on the functioning ability of the body. He went on to become Vice-President of the Activator Technique Club and earned his Advanced proficiency rating in Activator Technique. Furthermore, he pursued additional courses outside of the required curriculum through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. This equips him to serve children at the highest level with the most effective techniques. He also earned his Webster Certification, which is an advanced certification that instructs doctors how to specifically care for prenatal and postpartum mothers.
Outside of the office, you can find him enjoying time with family and friends, playing recreation sports, and traveling with his wife Caitlin.
Caitlin is the office manager at Core Family Chiropractic. She grew up north of West Union on a dairy farm and attended high school with Dr. Brad at North Fayette. After high school she attended the University of Northern Iowa for marketing. Once she received her bachelor’s degree, Caitlin began working in the advertising industry at a print and marketing company.
During this time, her and Dr. Brad married in 2017 in their hometown of West Union. Caitlin enjoys the thrill of coordinating and is excited to serve the Cedar Valley community in a new capacity.
